LOCOMOTORA ENCENDIDA: RICHARD CARAPAZ YA ES SEGUNDO EN EL GIRO
La Locomotora del Carchi escaló al segundo lugar de la clasificación general del Giro d’Italia luego de la etapa 11 que fue ganada por el italiano Alberto Dainese en un emocionante sprint final.
Richard Carapaz logró bonificar tres segundos en el sprint intermedio de San Giovani in Perscieto en el kilómetro 127 y subió posiciones en la general. El trabajo del también ecuatoriano Jhonatan Narváez contribuyó para atravesar el sprint. Él bonificó 2 segundos.
Es así que Richard Carapaz se encuentra en la segunda posición de la Corsa Rosa con una diferencia de 12” del líder, el español Juan Pedro López.
La Locomotora del Carchi mantiene la misma diferencia del portugués João Almeida.
